This weekend in London, England, the UCI is having an Olympic Test Event to hype up the Olympic race next August. This is a huge event, as it is being broadcast not only on Freecaster this Saturday, but also on NBC this Sunday. On the Elite Men side of things, we have brand new factory rider “Double A” Alex Anthony. Alex debuted his new Speedline colors and Supercross bike today, but unfortunately didn’t make the 64 rider cut. Alex still made us proud, and looked super fast on the trick track.

We don’t have any Factory Speedline Elite Women there, but Supercross rider Dani George will be using Speedline parts to reach the front of the pack this weekend. We here at Speedline wish the best of luck to everyone out in London!

It’s been quite a while since we gave the Speedline page a proper update, and a lot has happened over here since then. We recently moved into a larger facility, we’ve introduced new parts like our Speedline Flats, and we’ve gone through run after run of our mini-cranks.

Recently, team rider Kim Hayashi took a trip to South Korea for a huge pro race, with a purse just as large. Kim walked away from the race with a 2nd place finish and an awesome vacation.

A few weekends ago, team sponsor Fly Racing held a photoshoot at the USABMX national in Salt Lake City, Utah for their new catalog. Zach “Lil T” Tossett was lucky enough to be able to participate in the shoot with many of Fly’s top riders. Jasen at MJT Designs sent us this picture of Zach ripping it up in the 2012 Evolution gear.

To go with the fresh new Fly gear, we decided to debut a new team jersey. Expect to see this new paint splatter jersey at the front of the pack soon!

On the product front, we have started shipping our new flat pedals along with Summer edition colors of our popular clipless pedal. Both should be available at your local Speedline dealer.

We have the finished Speedline SX Mini-Cranks in stock! These slick little cranks are already flying out the door to Speedline dealers worldwide. The Speedline Min-Cranks currently only come in black, but more colors are on their way. These cranks can either use a 5-bolt spider, the old Answer 1-piece chainwheel, or the all-new Speedline 104mm 4-bolt spider pictured above!

We here at Speedline are excited to announce a new product to our evergrowing line-up, cranks! Supercross recently took back the license on their SX Mini Cranks from Answer BMX, and has licensed the crank to us. Production has already started, and 200 pairs should be ready to ship soon. The first run will be all black, but we do have a few colors planned for the next run. Answer BMX will still stock the chainwheels for these ankle-biter cranks.
